Parliamentary Election for the Blackpool North and Fleetwood Consituency
- An Election is to be held of One Member of Parliament for Blackpool North and Fleetwood.
- Forms of nomination for the Parliamentary Election may be obtained at Civic Centre, Breck Road, Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire, FY6 7PU from the Acting Returning Officer who will, at the request of an elector for any electoral area prepare a nomination paper for signature.
- Nomination papers must be delivered to the Acting Returning Officer, Civic Centre, Breck Road, Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire, FY6 7PU on any working day after the date of this notice between the hours of 10 am and 4 pm but no later than 4 pm on Friday, 7th June 2024.
- The required deposit may be made either by the deposit of any legal tender, by means of a banker’s draft or, with the Acting Returning Officer’s consent, in any other manner (such as electronic transfer of funds).
- If any election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday, 4th July 2024.
- New applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Civic Centre, Breck Road, Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire, FY6 7PU by Tuesday, 18th June 2024. You can register at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote
- Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Civic Centre, Breck Road, Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire, FY6 7PU by 5pm on Wednesday, 19th June 2024. You can apply for a postal vote at www.gov.uk/apply-postal-vote
- New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Civic Centre, Breck Road, Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire, FY6 7PU by 5pm on Wednesday, 26th June 2024. You can apply for a proxy vote at www.gov.uk/apply-proxy-vote
- New applications for a Voter Authority Certificate must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Civic Centre, Breck Road, Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire, FY6 7PU by 5pm on Wednesday, 26th June 2024.
- New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Civic
- Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election on grounds of physical incapacity or for work/service reasons must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Civic Centre, Breck Road, Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire, FY6 7PU by 5 pm on Thursday, 4th July 2024. The physical incapacity must have occurred after 5 pm on Wednesday, 26th June 2024. To apply on the grounds of work/service, the person must have become aware that they cannot go to the polling station in person after 5 pm on Wednesday,
