Adopted Wyre Local Plan (2011-2031) (incorporating partial update of 2022)
On the 26 January 2023 Wyre council adopted the Wyre Local Plan (2011-2031) (incorporating partial update of 2022) (the “Local Plan”).
The new Local Plan covers the whole of the Borough for the period 2011-2031. It provides the statutory planning framework for non-minerals and waste matters.
Wyre's new Local Plan is a revised replacement of the Wyre Local Plan (2011-2031) retaining all of its policies except those revised by the partial update.
The new Local Plan replaces 20 policies and elements of the supporting text of the Wyre Local Plan (2011-2031) (adopted in February 2019).
The adopted Wyre Local Plan (2011-2031) (incorporating partial update of 2022), adopted Policies Map, the Adoption Statement, the Inspectors Report and Sustainability Appraisal documents including the Sustainability Appraisal Post-Adoption Statement are available to view and download through the links below:

Copies of the above mentioned documents are available for inspection free of charge from Wyre Civic Centre, Breck Road, Poulton-le-Fylde, FY6 7PU and at local libraries (will be available from 10 February 2023). Library opening times can be viewed at the Lancashire County Council website.
