Evaluation
Wyre Council will evaluate each submission based on the following criteria.
Price
The council has a budget of £5,700 for this project. Evaluation will be based on the artists ability to meet the budget on a pass/fail basis. Submissions that come in on the specified budget will pass the price stage and move onto quality scoring. Submissions that exceed the budget will fail and not be considered further.
Quality
- Experience 20%: Provide examples of previous commissions that you have completed which demonstrate your experience of creating similar art installations in size and scale to the brief.
- Methodology 60%: Provide an outline of your ideas / design suggestions for the project including concept, materials, installation details and protective requirements. Protecting the environment is important to us, so we also ask that you include a list of the materials you would need to use for this project.
- Health and Safety 10%: Provide a statement on the safe working methods of your works, or a specific risk assessment
- Programme 10%: Please set out the key stages of the project with dates showing completion by the end of January 2025
Quality evaluation will be made under the criteria listed below. Each criteria question will be scored out of 5 and this will result in an overall score out of 100%.

The selected artist will proceed in accordance with Wyre Council’s terms and conditions for the purchase of goods and services.
Where a score of 2 or above is not achieved for each element of the Quality Criteria, the quotation may not be considered further.
