Young Wyre in Bloom
We run an annual Young Wyre in Bloom competition among all schools and nurseries in Wyre, through which we celebrate the fantastic work of teachers, staff and pupils and what they do for the environment within their school grounds. The competition looks at floral displays and hard engineering features such as ponds, bird and bat boxes and much more. Participants are also asked about the initiatives they are involved in, these may include the RHS School Gardening Awards, Green Tree Schools Award, Beach and Forest schools and any other relevant awards. The competition is free to enter, it is relaxed and easy going.
