We are seeking volunteers to support the council’s gardeners in Cleveleys. You will be working in areas such as Jubilee Park, Thornton Gate, the duck pond and the flowerbeds on the promenade - home to a special collection of coastal plants. With its striking backdrop of seaside sculptures this is a unique volunteering role.
Activities usually include:
- planting, seeding and watering
- monitoring the collection of coastal plants
- maintaining the general area and keeping it tidy
- sweeping/cleaning footpaths
Work in this role may be physically demanding but rewarding. No powered machinery is involved.
This is a great opportunity to get out doors, be active and contribute your gardening skills to the community.
