There are two regular cycling activities that take place in Wyre. Social Cycles offers various cycling sessions in Fleetwood and the Wyre Wheels programme gives participants the chance to ride adapted bicycles.
Volunteering for Social Cycles
We are looking for volunteers who can offer their time to work with the council. You need to be confident riding a bike and able to support beginners. Rides will be at a relaxed, easy pace and will give a chance for people to meet while improving their health. There will always be at least two ride leaders on each ride, and all the necessary training will be provided.
Becoming a volunteer will provide you with new knowledge and skills. You will meet like minded people and get out into Wyre's great outdoors.
If you are interested please email volunteering@wyre.gov.uk.
