Marine Hall soft market test

Wyre Council is keen to explore options for the future operation and development of the Marine Hall Complex. The council’s aspiration is for an innovative and economically viable ‘Entertainment Hub’ that offers an enhanced range of entertainment, leisure, cultural and commercial activities for both residents and visitors to this area.

It should be noted that, whilst the Council is wholly committed to providing a modern community focused entertainment facility, there is an overriding need to reduce the annual operating cost of the service whilst raising the standards of service delivery.

The soft market test is intended to allow interested organisations with appropriate experience to outline their views and provide information with no commitment from themselves or the council. It is not part of a formal procurement process, and the council is not guaranteeing to carrying out such a process.

The soft market test will also provide an opportunity for interested parties to participate in a market interest day which will provisionally take place w/c 29th July 2024.

Documentation is available via the council’s e-procurement portal. Alternatively, if you don’t have access to the portal, you can request a copy from Ben McCabe at ben.mccabe@wyre.gov.uk.

Registration with the portal is recommended to ensure all information is received as this will be the system used for correspondence.

Brochures or other general marketing information should not be attached in addition to this. If you have any queries regarding the questionnaire, please detail your enquiry using the e-procurement portal or via the email address: ben.mccabe@wyre.gov.uk.

The completed questionnaire must be returned, together with supporting documents no later than 12.00 noon on Friday 19th July bearing the reference ‘Marine Hall soft market test’ and returned via the e-procurement portal or emailed to ben.mccabe@wyre.gov.uk.
