Andrea Wallace, Colm Healy and Jenni Brophy from the Economic Development team are delighted to announce that they have all become Enterprise Advisors.
This new role, additional to their existing roles, will mean getting involved with local schools to encourage the promotion of preparing the students for a “working life”. Andrea will be working with Myerscough College, Colm will be working with Hodgson Academy and Jenni will be working with Cardinal Allen Catholic High School. The aim is to work alongside teachers, careers advisors and headteachers to encourage students to think ahead for the future.
The ED Team will be getting involved in a number of tasks, including; CV writing, work experience and mock job interviews with the students. They are also hoping to shed a new light on working within local Councils because, apparently, school children think that Council-workers are boring! We hope you can join us in wishing them a successful first year in their new roles.
