“Why should I bother?” We hear you, it’s easier not to take a Covid test, but choosing to test twice a week can make a difference.
Testing and self isolation has prevented up to 2 million cases in the UK so far. Plus, realising you’ve passed it to your friends or family is not a good feeling. Get tested ahead of the weekend. We’ve got a rapid testing unit in Poulton on Thursday 21 and Friday 22 October outside St Chad’s church, pop in and get a free lateral flow test and save yourself the worry.
You can also collect free test kits to do twice a week from your local library, Poulton YMCA or a local chemist or order kits online.
Remember, if you feel at all unwell, even if your lateral flow test is negative, book a PCR test to be sure at nhs.uk or by calling 119.
Rates in Wyre at the moment are some of the highest in the country. Let’s all do our bit.
