Terms and conditions
By completing our online forms and/or signing up for an account, you agree:
- you will keep your username and password secure and not share your account with anyone; even family members
- you will use a personal email address that is not related to your work or education for managing any personal requests or submissions
- you will not use a shared email address, even if you share with a family member
- you will only register for one person per email address
- you will not amend your details to allow another person to use the account
- you will tell us if any of the information we hold about you or the address at which you pay council tax, or claim benefits is incorrect or incomplete
- any deliberate attempt to gain access to information you are not authorised to see may incur criminal penalties
- we will use the email address you provide to confirm when forms you complete are submitted. If there is a case on the portal that you can track, you may receive email updates. You can unsubscribe from these emails
- we may contact you about your requests and services using the details you provide
- we may share your myWyre Account details with other council systems to complete a service request, for example to verify who you are when using our council tax, business rates or benefits services
- we may share your myWyre Account details with our third party providers to complete a service request
- we will pass your information to the waste management company Veolia if you complete a form regarding your household waste
- we will pass your information to the company Furniture Matters if you book a bulky waste collection
- accounts that contravene these terms and conditions may be closed or amended without notice
- if you register for ebilling you are confirming that everyone named on the bill agrees to receive all future council tax bills and adjustments by email only
- we use your personal data within the rules set out in the Data Protection Act 1998 and our privacy statements
- you will not create a myWyre account for another person or using someone else's details
- if you close your myWyre Account, we will delete your account details. This will not delete your records from our core service systems, so your data will still be held by the council unless you request your data is erased
