Our award winning park sits on the banks of the River Wyre. The country park holds a green flag, an international mark of quality. It’s also holds a Visit England Accolade for going the extra mile to provide a quality visitor experience.

Wyreside Café serves hot and cold food and drinks.
Open every Wednesday - Sunday 9am - 4.30pm.
Well behaved dogs are welcome.

Facilities
There is lots to explore at Wyre Estuary Country Park. We also host annual and one-off events all year round. Just some of the events you can look forward to include ranger-led walks, conservation activities, family craft days, and the Christmas Fayre.

Schools and community groups
We are committed to lifelong learning for all; we believe everyone should leave our wonderful country park knowing something they didn't when they arrived!
We have lots of experience in delivering environmental education, so you can relax and trust the experts. All our programmes link to the national curriculum where possible.
You can bring your class or community group to the park for a guided walk or an organised activity such as mini-beast hunt.

Volunteer at the park
There are many ways in which you can volunteer at Wyre Estuary Country Park.. You can volunteer for an afternoon, or for a whole year. Joining our volunteer service could see you working across a varied number of areas in Wyre's diverse landscape. This could include carrying out conservation work, putting up stiles, digging ditches, or cutting vegetation.
