We are pleased to announce that the 2025 Garstang Walking Festival is running from Saturday 3 May to Sunday 11 May. There will be old favourites and new walks for all ages and abilities. We hope you can join us.
We will be taking bookings from February 2025.
In 2024, we celebrated 20 years of the Garstang Walking Festival. The festival ran from the 4–12 May and included up to 40 walks, for all ages and abilities.
The event was a great success thanks to our wonderful volunteer walk leaders and parents. Visit the Garstang Walking Festival Facebook to see photographs from this year's event. Please email us any photos from the event that you would like to share.
The walking festival is coordinated by the Friends of Garstang Walking Festival and supported by Wyre Council. Walks take place around Garstang, rural Wyre, the Forest of Bowland and Morecambe Bay. The festival includes a range of walks, including the three-day Wyre Way Challenge, easy access short walks, family activities, evening walks, wildlife strolls, heritage rambles, tramper trials, dog friendly trails and everything in between!
