Fun for the whole family! Join us for an afternoon of nature focused entertainment at Wyre Estuary Country Park, Stanah.
There'll be live performances, music and lots of interactive fun. Bring a picnic and enjoy the day!
Pack up a plastic free picnic and come along for a day of live music and entertainment at the park. We want everyone to enjoy a fun day out whilst coming together to tackle climate change. Entry is free and there’s no need to book.
- Family theatre show at 12pm and 2pm – enjoy a special performance of Seed – a heart warming story about friendship and one man’s struggle to look after nature
- Live music on our solar powered stage!
- Make musical instruments out of stuff you’d usually throw away
- Bring your spare plant pots and pick up new seedlings (or swap any spare plants you might have!)
- Help create a big junk sculpture
- Bring a plastic free picnic to enjoy at the event
- Children’s games to play
- Nature trail around the park
- Write your letter to tomorrow and pledge to do your bit for our planet
- Find out ways to reduce your impact on the environment
- Make a wildflower bomb to plant at home
This event is part of The Great Big Green Week, The UK’s biggest ever celebration of community action to tackle climate change and protect nature. Come and have some fun and see how you can get involved.
