Garstang Walking Festival - Winmarleigh Moss Walk

Garstang walking festival brochure cover 2025

Walking from the Winmarleigh church hall we will head out through lowland farmland towards Winmarleigh Moss.

A hidden gem, but the largest of Lancashire’s low raised bogs. Here we will hopefully see native flora and flora associated with bog habitat whilst learning about how crucial peatland habitats help in the battle against climate change.

Distance: eight miles - hard
