Garstang short walk

Join our volunteer walk leaders for a relaxed walk along the footpaths and tracks of Garstang’s countryside and historic Market Town.

This two mile walk is graded 'access for all'.

No need to book.

Take in fresh air and enjoy the views of the River Wyre, Lancaster Canal and the Bowland hills. 

Please arrive 15 minutes before the start for registration.

Please bring with you;

  • any medication required
  • clothing appropriate to the weather conditions
  • stout footwear
  • a drink

On some occasions such as bad weather, we have to cancel an activity. Please check this website listing close to the event for any updates.

Well behaved dogs on leads welcome.

Suitable for all ages but no unaccompanied under 18’s (Parent or Guardian must stay with Children at all times).

Suitable for Trampers. Trampers must be booked 7 days in advance in order to secure.

Dogs must be kept under close control at all times and on a lead on request by the leader, and you must clean up after them.
