Lancashire County Council Elections are due to be held on Thursday 1 May 2025 to elect a County Councillor for each of the eight electoral divisions in Wyre: Cleveleys East, Cleveleys South & Carleton, Fleetwood East, Fleetwood West & Cleveleys West, Thornton & Hambleton, Poulton-le-Fylde, Wyre Rural Central and Wyre Rural East.

Registering to vote
The deadline to register to vote in time to vote in this election is Friday 11 April 2025.
Poll Cards
The first batch of poll cards will be mailed out on Tuesday 25 March 2025 for anyone who was already on the electoral register on Friday 7 March 2025.
The second batch of poll cards will be mailed out on Thursday 24 April 2025 for anyone who applied to go on the register between 8 March and 11 April 2025.
Postal Vote
The deadline to apply for a new postal vote, a new postal proxy vote or to make any changes to any type of existing absent vote is Monday 14 April, 5pm.
The first batch of postal votes will be mailed out on Monday 14 April 2025 for anyone who is already a postal voter on 1 April 2025.
The second batch of postal votes will be mailed out on Thursday 17 April 2025 for anyone who applied for a postal vote 2 April and Monday 14 April 2025.
If you have not received your postal vote, or have misplaced or spoilt it, you can apply for a replacement between Friday 25 April and Thursday 1 May 2024, 5pm.
Proxy Vote
The deadline to apply for a new proxy vote is Wednesday 23 April 2025, 5pm.
Voter Authority Certificate (Photo ID)
The deadline to apply for a Voter Authority Certificate is Wednesday 23 April 2025, 5pm.
Emergency Proxy Vote
If you have a medical or work emergency that occurs after 5pm on Wednesday 23 April 2025 you may be able to apply for an emergency proxy. Please contact us for
