The first Wyre Community Awards will take place on 4th December 2024. The awards will recognise the important work our voluntary, charitable and community organisations make in supporting our communities.
Nominations will go live on Wednesday 18 September and will close on 20 October.
There are three award categories:
- Making a Difference to Children.
- Making a Difference to Adults.
- Making a Difference in the local Community.
Organisations can be nominated for multiple categories, however, the Awards Panel reserve the right to shortlist the nomination for a maximum of one category.
Criteria
- The nomination must be a not-for-profit voluntary, charitable, faith or social enterprise organisation.
- Nominations will be judged against the following criteria:
- The background, circumstances and journey of the organisation.
- The voluntary effort the organisation has made and is making.
- The impact and difference that voluntary effort has made and is making to our communities in Wyre.
- The person nominating must be prepared to provide a short video outlining the reasons for their nomination.
